Helen of Sparta knows how the story ends: badly. Yet she keeps telling it, over and over again, helpless as the tragedies of the Trojan War unfold in front of her eyes. She oscillates between being part of the story and simply watching it happen around her.
Maybe this time it will be different.
Inspired by ancient and contemporary tragedies alike, HELEN is an original play firmly rooted in the storytelling traditions of Ancient Greece, seeking to highlight the humanity in all of its characters—for better or for worse.
